Freeport Grand Bahama Island - Friday Sept 7, 2018 Bahamas Federation of Performing arts (BFPA) held it's second Legal Round Table discussion with a very engaged audience at the C.A. Smith Building Training Room. The presenter was their Legal Affairs Director, Jacy Whittaker who delved further into the legal steps one musttake in order to protect their creative works via Copyright, Trademarks and patents. At times the audience was quite shocked by the realities pertaining to creative rights protection in The Bahamas and the limitations Vis-a-vis the United States.

The event was free for BFPA members and $5 for non members. The information attendees received would have cost several hundred dollars or more to have their questions answered as they were at the Legal Round Table...
