Atlantis, Paradise Island recently joined with top water safety and training organizations the world over to host the Worlds Largest Swimming Lesson (WLSL) a campaign to spread awareness about the importance of learning to swim, particularly where children are concerned, to help prevent drowning.

Learning to swim and how to be safe around water are truly matters of life and death for both children and adults around the world. According to the World Health Organization and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, drowning is major public health problem worldwide and is the third leading cause of unintentional injury-related death.
