Over 200 trainees recently completed NTAs workforce preparation: Skills training comes next

The National Training Agency (NTA) completed its 4-week signature Mandatory Workforce Preparation Training (a series of soft skills/workplace dynamics sessions) for its 8th cohort on August 24, 2017.   Over 200 Bahamians between the ages of 16 and 26 are enrolled, and will continue on to 10 weeks of Skills Training as of September 4, 2017.
 
Trainees are divided into 11 disciplines which include: Allied Health Care, Butler Services, Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping, Food Preparation, Microsoft Office, Auto-Body Repair, Customer Service, Office Procedures, Non-Instructional Teacher's Aide and QuickBooks Accounting.  All areas of training run for 14 weeks...
